The land lease developer has followed up its solid start to the year by purchasing an eight-hectare lot on Memorial Drive, Evans Head – just three kilometres from its Riverside by Gateway Lifestyle community which is being expanded from 87 to 162 homes.

Gateway plans to build 176 homes (average selling price $350K) plus a clubhouse, community lawn and lawns bowls green on the site and estimates the value of the community to be $15 million on completion.

They tell us the purchase is an opportunity to expand its portfolio in the region which has been identified as having “excess demand” for lifestyle communities.
