The single-entry point one-stop shops for aged care services promised by the Government in April last year will not be up and running in time to meet the deadline. A senior Health Department official this week acknowledged that the $37 million Centrelink style shops wont be ready in time. The Government had committed to having the shops operational by July 1, 2011 with a basic level of services.
