The RVA has secured the highly regarded business development executive, Jane Holdsworth, for the leadership position of CEO. Jane was General Manager of the Greater Western Sydney Chamber of Commerce, ranked as the third largest economy in Australia with a GDP of $54 billion, followed by Chairing the Western Sydney Economic Forum for 5 years.

She brings with her a reputation for innovative projects and a flair for marketing. She comments: “my roles have all been about being smarter and faster, thinking outside the square. In Western Sydney we created ‘speed dating’ for businesses to get networking up and going in record time. We developed a telecommunications strategy for all new businesses in the region so that they were competitive immediately rather than learning on the run”.

Jane has taken up her position in Melbourne and is spending this week with retiring CEO, Kate Hamond, who departs to attend to family matters.
