The CEO (pictured above left) has announced she will step down from her role on 30 June after guiding the Not For Profit provider from just 100 clients to 48,000 over a 20-year period.

A certified practicing accountant (CPA), Ms Buckley has led Feros’ growth across aged care, home care, NDIS, allied health and assistive technology with year-on-year growth across the business for the last five years despite the challenges facing the aged care and disability sectors.

“When I started at the organisation, the financial situation was so dire that I couldn’t even buy a computer, but today we employ 1,000 staff, turn over nearly $100 million annually, and have become a respected partner for government,” she said.

“It’s been quite the journey and one we were only able to make by being strategic and by taking a long-term approach to growth and sustainability without losing sight of quality care and the fact our clients are at the centre of all we do.”

Ms Buckley has also made a significant leadership contribution to Australia’s aged care sector through the national boards of the Aged and Community Services Associations and the Aged Care Industry Information Technology Council.

Last year, the CEO gave evidence on the use of technology in aged care to the Royal Commission.

“I thank her dearly for her substantial contribution – she leaves us in good shape and ready for the next era,” Feros Chair, Colin McJannett said.
