Gillian McFee of UnitingCare NSW & ACT threw out the challenge that they are open to joint
ventures with private partners, for three reasons:
• JV’s could speed up UnitingCare’s achievement of social objectives
• Achieve better use of capital
• Increase UnitingCare’s capacity to do things
With over 80 villages, many under review, she also listed the guidelines on what they are
seeking in a JV partner.
