Private aged care provider Cranbrook Care has appointed Lee Carissa as its new CEO, replacing Kerry Mann, who moves to an Executive Directorship after 10 years in the role.

Ms Carissa (above), who has served as Cranbrook’s Group Operations Officer since 2018, has more than 30 years’ experience in the aged care sector, and says she is dedicated to caring for and serving Cranbrook’s residents and staff.

“As someone who has been fortunate to enjoy a long-standing career in the aged care sector, I’m also genuinely committed to creating a rewarding and supporting workplace where our staff are empowered through first-class training and education.

“Coaching, mentoring and creating career pathways within our sector are priorities which are not just close to my heart, they are paramount to our ability to provide quality care to our residents and their families,” she said.

Outgoing CEO Kerry Mann (pictured) described Ms Carissa as “a passionate advocate for quality care and service, innovation and education”.

“In her role as Group Operations Manager over the past four years Lee has led our clinical teams through the biggest challenges we have ever faced – the safety and protection of our residents during the COVID pandemic.

“I wish her every success in her new position and look forward to working alongside her to set new benchmarks as we strive to make a difference in the lives of our residents, our families, and our staff,” she said.

Cranbrook Care has four residential aged care homes across Sydney and the NSW Central Coast, as well as home care services; it opened its first premium retirement village, Cranbrook Residences in Sydney’s Hills District, in 2017.
