Plans for the $32.5m, Balise Eco-Village by the Sisters of Good Samaritans in the Sydney suburb of Red Hill have attracted media attention this week. Plans for the village have been scaled back to 51 ILUs and re-submitted, despite the previous proposal being rejected by the Land and Environment Court (L & E). Warringah Council has reported extreme concerns that the NSW Planning Department has supplied confidential planning information to the developer.
