In December 2009 Camden councillors resolved to prepare an LEP amendment to permit Seniors Living at Mater Dei, even though the land had already been earmarked for environmental living. Camden councillors adopted the proposal to rezone the precinct from environmental living to low density residential at last week's meeting and the application will now be sent back to the Planning Department.
