Representatives from 15 villages from Canberra, Wagga and Wodonga attended an educational day staged by the New South Wales residents association (the Retirement Village Residents Association RVRA). The President, Jan Pritchett, and Secretary (plus Advocacy Chairman), Malcolm McKenzie, advised on dispute resolution, except fees and their role in advocacy to politicians and bureaucrats.
The educational rallies are part of the $25,000 funding the RVRA receives from the NSW Minister of Fair Trading.
