The owners of nineteen villages and aged care facilities, with 2,000 residents, have agreed in principal to join together to form a company called Hercules Ltd to list on the NZ stock exchange.
Their owners consist of individuals and companies. All Blacks captain Richie McCaw along with Dan Carter (pictured) are among the recent investors in villages in the proposed merger. They wish to raise $50-100M for expansion, plus have an exit strategy.
