Presbyterian Aged Care’s $180M NSW aged care development hits delays after “land slip”

Work on the eight-storey The Terraces in Sydney’s exclusive Paddington will be delayed by about three months after a “landslip” damaged part of the heritage-listed Scottish Hospital building on the site, according to The Daily Telegraph.

CEO Paul Sadler says the landslip forced the demolition of around one-third of the building, delaying the delivery of 13 independent living units in the hospital by about nine months.

The new 100-bed aged care facility, which will replace the existing 88-bed facility, and the first 14 ILUs outside the hospital are due to open in November next year, followed by another 52 ILUs in 2019.
