PresCare put its hospitality business into liquidation – but aged care homes still on the market

The Queensland-based Not For Profit is continuing to divest its aged care assets.

As we reported here last month, PresCare sold its home care services – with 4,000 clients and 280 staff – to private operator myHomecare Group – which has partners including Enrich Living Services and backed by Quadrant Private Equity.

The operator previously announced it would quit residential care in August after announcing a loss of $12 million.

Now the church put its hospitality company Contented Chef into liquidation.

Contented Chef is a subsidiary of PresCare’s Credere Services Group, which reported net liabilities of $24 million in 2019. Credere also sells mobility equipment and monitoring systems for aged care patients.

PresCare’s six aged care homes remain on the market.
