Property: US home sales have fallen to their lowest in a decade

International stock markets reacted badly to the news that US house sales have plummeted to the lowest rate in a decade. The news has heightened simmering tension about the global economy and the possibility of recessions around the world. Sales of existing homes were down over 27% in July in the US, compared with the previous month.
