QLD: Toowoomba Chronicle runs nine-month investigation into failures at community-run aged care home

The story outlines cases of care given to at least four residents Yallambee Aged Care facility in Milmerran in the Darling Downs region, 208km west of Brisbane, that are being investigated by the authorities including one death being examined by Queensland’s Office of the Health Ombudsman.

According to The Courier Mail, the facility, which is community-owned and run, was without a full-time visiting medical service for 13 months between February 2017 and March 2018.
