QLD university to include aged care facility on its Townsville future campus

James Cook University is spending $1.9 billion to develop its Townsville campus to include an aged care facility, hotel and childcare centre by 2035 – a plan that will increase the campus workforce from 3,500 to 5,000.

Retirement villages and aged care facilities co-located with universities are more commonplace in the US.
