RSL Care SA reveals plans for new aged care facility in Murray Bridge

The not-for-profit aged care, retirement living and affordable housing provider plans to build a 72-bed residential facility adjacent to Waterford Estate, the retirement village it purchased in 2017 (74 kilometres west of Adelaide CBD), reports The Murray Valley Standard.

RSL Care CEO, Nathan Klinge, said there is “a good ex-service community” in the area, and a recent meeting of Waterford Estate village residents revealed all 93 of them supported RSL Care’s proposal for the new facility.

Places would be made available to members of the general public that are socially disadvantaged – such as people living with dementia or homelessness.
