SA Retirement Villages Act 2016 releases discussion paper and seeks feedback

The South Australian Office for Ageing Well has released a 52-page document as the next step of a review of the state’s Retirement Village Act 2016.

The three yearly review is a requirement of the ACT, commencing in 2018, and will frame the operations of the state’s 534 registered retirement villages, which house over 26,000 people.

The two-part discussion paper has been developed to facilitate the review and stakeholders and community members are encourage to provide feedback.

The Director of the Office for Ageing Well is encouraging all South Australians who are interested to have their say on the review paper here.

Submissions close on Friday 26 March 2021 at 5.00pm (ACDT).
