St Vincent’s Care Services steps in to keep Catholic aged care home in Melbourne open

Another ‘merger’. This time the 91-bed Mary MacKillop Aged Care facility in Hawthorn East will be rebranded as St Vincent’s Care Services Hawthorn after the Not For Profit took control of the facility which has been operated by The Sisters of St Joseph for 61 years.

St Vincent’s Care Services (SVCS) is the aged care division of St Vincent’s Health Australia (SVHA), which has 15 aged care facilities as well as eight private hospitals, seven public hospitals, and four co-located research institutes in NSW, QLD and VIC.
