Topic - aged care
The aged care sector is going broke. We can change this by making it easier for the Government to properly introduce user pays.

Learn how and join the push at the LEADERS SUMMIT.

Home care and residential care simply requires more revenue to deliver the workforce, better quality care and a future.

User pays is the only solution.

We need the broader community to have a conversation about aged care. Then politicians, bureaucrats and Treasury will have safer ground to change policy.

It is up to us to commence and then continue this conversation – and it has to be done this year after the Federal election.

Plan B

Plan A is to continue as we are, reliant on a Government with $960 billion debt. Plan A is a new funding tool which has already been demonstrated as not working.

We have assembled a Plan B strategy and an action plan for user pays.

It includes independent economic research. It includes five TV programs and radio. It includes dedicated journalists. It includes social media.

It will coordinate with aligned ACSA and LASA programs.

It will commence in early June.

We need the support of every operator in the country and every retirement living and aged care supplier to distribute conversations to your local contacts.

We will supply you fresh messages and the media assets every week from June through to December.

LEADERS SUMMIT

User pays and Plan B will be presented at the LEADERS SUMMIT. The speakers include:

Operators will review their own strategies and contribution:

$5 billion Plan B impact

The simple user pays policy change will immediately inject around $5 billion into the home care and residential care sectors. This equates to a 16% increase in revenue for operators.

Without Plan B, given election cycles, the experts say we won’t have another opportunity to establish user pays in the next five years.

The choice is yours. If you desire a 16% increase in revenue, please contribute. The first step is to join the LEADERS SUMMIT to understand Plan B and how you can participate.

Educate your leadership team

This SUMMIT is being staged in every capital city simultaneously to engage the entire sector.

Bring your leadership team and board to the LEADERS SUMMIT. In two days, they will receive a masterclass on the challenges, Plan B and the roles we all must take up.

The sector only has one opportunity to proactively make its own future and the time is now.

Check out the LEADERS SUMMIT program HERE. Register you and your colleagues HERE.

Thursday 24 March and Friday 25 March, in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

It’s important.
