Three assaults investigated at aged care facility for former Oakden residents

An alleged assault at the Northgate aged care facility in Adelaide involving a former Oakden staff member has been reported to SA Police according to the ABC.

The staff member had been transferred to the facility along with Oakden residents after the state-run facility closed its doors in September.

The Government says the staff member has been stood down after allegedly using “restrictive practices” on a patient. Two other alleged assaults in May and March last year are also under police investigation.
