Village resident dies chasing garbage truck

An 83 resident of a Mandurah (WA) village was killed when she chased the village garbage truck when it missed collecting her bin. Unaware that she was following, the driver seated on the left hand side turned right into the next street, knocking the woman over. She passed away in hospital later that day.

It seems her bin had been moved away from the kerb earlier in the day while she had guests. The garbage truck reportedly had been moving slowly
