1 min read

Latitude Country Club, the social and wellness hub of the over 50's land lease community Palm Lake Resort Paynesville, in Gippsland 300km east of Melbourne, features a Milon Gymnasium, heated indoor pool, private cinema, tenpin bowling lanes, art studio, and dining areas.

An official opening ceremony will be held on 14 May with a carnival-themed event, with the broader local community invited to the 195-home resort, which is estimated for completion in January 2027. Palm Lake Resorts, which has 27 resort locations, is part of the family-owned Palm Lake Group. Palm Lake Group also owns Palm Lake Care, which operates seven co-located aged care homes.

Palm Lake Group was the first land lease developer to develop residential aged care homes alongside their land lease communities, which increasingly have an ageing cohort. The Group was founded by Walter Elliott nearly 50 years ago, and is now run by son Scott Elliott.
