?Australias population grew 1.5% to 22, 477,400
?This is 30% down on the peak 2.2% in 2008
?Births were steady, more died, international students crashed
?Immigration is steady at 170,000pa
?WA grew 2.1% and ACT 2%.
?QLD grew 1.7% (including 35,419 from NSW)
?VIC grew 1.6%. NSW grew 1.2%
?Both parties support 1.5% annual growth to 35 million by 2030
