WA Catholic Not For Profit aged care provider MercyCare opened its Maddington aged care home, 20km southeast of the Perth CBD, earlier this month and accepted its first residents.
The 108-bed home is built around the small household model of care, and contains six 18-room homes.
MercyCare Maddington includes a sensory garden, a self-service cafe, hair salon, wellness hub, and communal spaces for meeting loved ones and socialising.
RADs range from $460,000 for a deluxe room with ensuite to $550,000 for a superior room with ensuite.
MercyCare provides residential aged care, retirement living, and home care services in WA, as well disability services.
