Plans for seniors living on part of former Newcastle Workers Club site in NSW revived

1 min read

Developer GWH Group has lodged a modified development application for the former car park site of Wests City in Newcastle.

Wests Group completed the sale of the 6600msq site to GWH earlier this year with approval in place for two 14-storey towers.

The redevelopment, which will cost an estimated $160 million, includes one tower of apartments and another for aged care and seniors living.

The modified application seeks to add another floor to one of the residential towers and change the number of aged care and independent living units in the other tower.
