Private aged care operator TLC Healthcare commences $27M redevelopment of Geelong healthcare precinct

1 min read

Melbourne-based private aged care operator TLC Healthcare has begun a $27 million redevelopment of its Belmont healthcare precinct, located close to the centre of the city of Geelong, 72km southwest of Melbourne's CBD.

The redevelopment will add 15 new luxury suites and redevelop the on-site medical centre. The expanded suites will feature separate lounge rooms and bedrooms, kitchenettes, ensuites, and private balconies.

Belmont Medical Centre, which is co-located with the aged care residence, will gain additional consulting rooms, and will expand the range of allied health services of offer, including hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, podiatry, and dieticians.

“The people of Belmont and the greater Geelong deserve the unrivalled level of aged care services, GP and allied health services that only TLC provides. No other healthcare group offers access to on-site, co-located healthcare services like TLC”, said Lou Pascuzzi, CEO of TLC Healthcare (pictured right).

The redevelopment complements TLC Healthcare's existing Geelong healthcare precincts at Warralily Gardens in Armstrong Creek and Homestead Estate in Wallington.

TLC Healthcare, founded in 2015, has 12 aged care homes based on a unique intergenerational model which sees them built on the same site as medical centres, allied health services, early learning and gyms.
