Reside Communities has recorded strong early demand at its newest project, Maleny Grove, in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast hinterland.
Civil works are now underway at the revitalised village, which Reside acquired from Live Life in March 2024. The first release of 25 off-the-plan villas launched in August 2025 – and 18 were snapped up within the first three weeks.
CEO Glen Brown said the response reflects both the quality of the homes and the appeal of the masterplan, which draws on the group’s learnings from its award-winning Samford Grove development.
“All of our sales, marketing and development learnings from Samford Grove have been replicated into the masterplan and sell-down of Maleny Grove,” he told The Weekly SOURCE.
The success of Stage One sales has accelerated timelines, with later stages of the development now expected to be brought forward to late 2025.
Once complete, Maleny Grove will expand to 95 residences. The village will also feature a new five-star clubhouse, The Lodge, designed as the social heart of the community.
