GemLife’s Puljich family buys $22M Byron Bay holiday retreat

1 min read

In a sign that land lease communities truly are booming, the Puljich family has been revealed as the $22 million buyer of a 5.62-hectare residential property near Byron Bay in northern NSW.

GemLife Director and CEO Adrian Puljich and his wife, interior designer Jessica Puljich, have settled on the “Hercules” estate at Coopers Shoot, which takes up the Byron escarpment’s largest parcel of flat land. There are two five-bedroom houses on the property along with other guest accommodation, as well as facilities including a 15-metre heated pool, office spaces, a gym with steam room, and a recording studio.

"We will use the property as a holiday destination for our closest family and friends as an intergenerational family compound,”
Adrian (pictured) told the Australian Financial Review.

Adrian and Jessica bought “Hercules” in June, and have now accrued $45.8 million in personal property assets since March of last year; their total personal property portfolio sits at around $53 million, including a $7 million Gold Coast mansion, a combined $8.8 million in two neighbouring Broadbeach Water blocks, and a $15 million waterfront property in Noosa Heads.
