BaptistCare WA CEO Russell Bricknell is set to leave the Not For Profit, taking up a new position as CEO of fellow WA-based provider Juniper.
Russell (above) will replace departing CEO Chris Hall AM, who announced his retirement earlier this year.
“I am delighted to be joining Juniper and its team of people committed to caring for older people across the State,” he said.
“Together with the team, I look forward to making a real difference in the lives of people we care for and support.”
According to Juniper’s Board Chair, Maree Arnason (pictured), Russell brings a wealth of experience to his new role, including as Global Chief Executive of Aged Care Channel Australia, General Manager of Baptistcare NSW and ACT, Chief Operating Officer of Australian Home Care, and Executive Director of Churches of Christ Care in Queensland.
“Mr Bricknell has led major organisational transformation and change management in aged care, essential pre-requisites for leading Juniper through major reforms that are impacting the Australian aged care sector.
“He has both strategic leadership and operational level experience in the aged care sector at national and local levels, together with a record of building successful teams,” she said.
Russell is due to start at Juniper on 2 December.
