ACH Group CEO Frank Weits latest Chief Executive to resign

2 min read

The charismatic leader of the South Australian Not For Profit provider of aged, home and memory care, and retirement living, has resigned.

ACH Group has installed its Chief Operating Officer Linda Feldt as Interim CEO. Linda previously was ACH Group’s General Manager – Customer Care.

“After five incredible years as a CEO, I am finding myself at a crossroad and am actively seeking my next adventure, one that’s centered around growth and innovation – either as a CEO / executive, interim-manager, consultant, board member or perhaps running my own business. I plan to take the right amount of time to chart my next steps and welcome your input,” Frank wrote on his LinkedIn page.

“Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege to work with some incredible teams and companies, and I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of true leadership and innovation in propelling businesses to new heights – be it in the private, not-for-profit or public sector. I believe that the key to organisational success lies in aligning purpose with the right people to build a great team, and together push boundaries in pursuit of excellence and growth to make lasting impact for the customers we serve. As CEO, I have experienced this firsthand during the rebuild of the organisation and in the face of many external challenges like COVID-19 and the aged care reform agenda. I am proud of where the organisation stands today and look forward to seeing its success in a new phase.”

Frank joined ACH Group as CEO in 2019 after 12 years as Head of Pursuit and Account Management at PwC Australia.

It was only in September that Frank opened ACH’s $40 million Healthia development, an aged care, health, and education hub in the Playford Health and Wellbeing Precinct, about 30km north of the Adelaide CBD.

Frank’s departure follows that of ACH Group Chair Mary Patetsos, who stepped down earlier this month. She was replaced by Imelda Lynch.

His resignation follows the recent departures of CEOs Karen Borg, (Catholic Healthcare); Helen Emmerson (Southern Cross Care NSW/ACT); Chris How, (Bethanie), Michelle Lewis (Mecwacare), and Hisham El-Ansary (Bupa Asia Pacific).
