1 min read

In a surprise move, Claire has left South Australia's largest retirement living provider just months after being elected Vice-President of the peak body, the Retirement Living Council, in February.

Claire joined the Profit for Purpose ECH in June 2022, taking the reins from long-time Chief Executive Dr David Panter.

She had previously served as the Chief Digital Officer at RSL LifeCare after being Executive General Manager - Marketing and Communications / Acting EGM Strategy and Transformation. She was also Head of Brand and Customer Strategy at real estate business TOGA.

"Since joining ECH in 2022, Claire has contributed to a strong and sustainable foundation for future growth. She has demonstrated a form commitment to our team, clients and residents in keeping with ECH's commitment to support older people to live confidently at home and "Get MORE out of Life," said ECH Chair Rosina Hislop, on behalf of the Board.

In a message to staff, Claire said: "It has been a privilege to lead this remarkable organisation. I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished as a team, and the difference we make in the community for our clients, residents and their support networks every day."

Mark Watson, who served as Interim Chief Executive in 2022, will step into the role again following Claire's sudden departure. Mark is currently Managing Director of corporate advisory practice SRG Partners and is the former Chief Executive of Radiology SA and Water Utilities Group.
