Person Centred Software launches #GladtoCare Awareness Week

1 min read

#GladtoCare Awareness Week, which is from Monday 20 May to Friday 24 May 2024, aims to recognise and applaud the invaluable efforts of those working in the aged care industry.

A packed week of activities is designed to inspire people to get involved and engage in any way possible, aiming to bring the aged care community and residents together.

From Motivation Monday to Feel Good Friday, #GladtoCare Awareness Week promises to create positive experiences and celebrate the remarkable work being done in aged care.

To participate in this year's #GladtoCare Awareness Week, anyone in the aged care sector can sign up and receive their very own #GladtoCare Toolkit. This free toolkit is packed with resources and materials to help everyone make the most of the week's celebration.

In addition, this campaign also acts as a fundraising event to raise funds for Person Centred Software Australia’s charity of the year, CommonAge. CommonAge, the Commonwealth Association for the Ageing, is a charity that promotes excellence in aged care and facilitates links between the Commonwealth and practitioners to understand common challenges better and share knowledge.

“The #GladtoCare campaign is putting the spotlight on care and is about recognising and celebrating the outstanding work being done to support some of the most vulnerable in our society to live the best life they can,” Mansur Dalal, CommonAge Chair said.

Johan Jardevall, Chief Executive Officer, Person Centred Software, added: "We are thrilled to bring #GladtoCare Awareness Week to Australia and celebrate the hard work and dedication of aged care workers. It's an opportunity to engage and appreciate the amazing individuals who make our aged care communities better. We invite everyone to be part of this incredible event and show their support by signing up for #GladtoCare Awareness Week."
