64 residents will be moving into the second vertical tower of RetireAustralia’s flagship retirement village over the next three weeks.
The Weekly SOURCE was shown around the new building by RetireAustralia’s National Sales Manager – New Communities, Chris Jacobson, and National Sales Manager – Established Communities, Rachel Carver, last Wednesday, which overlooks Burleigh Golf Course on the Gold Coast, with the site abuzz with building contractors and over 30 cleaners putting the final touches to reach practical completion.
Designed by O’Neill Architecture, the second stage comprises 66 independent living apartments and a 257msq activities hub which includes an auditorium, cinema, resident bar and kitchen, pool and table tennis facilities, and flexible spaces for meetings, events and indoor bowls.
Stage 2 follows the successful sale of 40 apartments in Stage I which opened in 2021. Stage 3, which includes 62 apartments and RetireAustralia’s first 10-bed care hub, is under construction and on track to open in 2025.
