Stockland appoint Bob Johnston to its Board of Directors

The diversified property group, which is going to be the leading over 50s land lease community provider in Australia, has chosen the former Managing Director of Frasers Property Australia (formerly the listed property group Australand) to join its board.

Stockland Chairman Tom Pockett announced the appointment, effective 1 October 2024.

Bob most recently was the Chief Executive Officer at the listed property group GPT. He held several senior management positions with Lendlease both in Australia and overseas. Bob holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (First Class Honours) from James Cook University.

Rising political star Sam Rae appointed Minister for Aged Care as Anika Wells takes on a new portfolio

Sam Rae, who was elected the member for Hawke in 2022, has been appointed the Minister for Aged Care, while Mark Butler retains the Health and Aged Care ministry Anika Wells moved to the Communications portfolio while retaining Sport.
