“We’ve been fielding an increasing number of calls from potential local and interstate buyers wanting to move to the area, but with no time to wait on a new build and not ready to tackle the rental market while they await its completion,” Director Lachlan Farquharson told The Cairns Post.
He said the new homes start from $260,000 and the weekly land lease rate is $145 a week. The residents need only pay for the water and electricity they use.
