Seniors living consultancy Ethos Urban rebrands as Colliers Urban Planning

Ethos Urban, one of Australia’s leading planning and urban development consultancies with a strong footprint in seniors housing, has taken on a new identity as Colliers Urban Planning.

Founded in 1992 through the merger of JBA, Planisphere and Buckley Vann, Ethos Urban has grown into a national consultancy with 160 professionals across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Its services span planning, urban design, engagement, and economic and social advisory for both public and private clients.

The Weekly SOURCE reported in February that global professional services giant Colliers, which operates in 68 countries, had acquired a controlling interest in the firm.

Daniel West, Director of Planning, who has worked across all three iterations of the firm, reflected on LinkedIn:

Daniel West

“When I joined JBA in 2016, I was excited to join what I saw as the best planning consultancy in town. In 2018 we became Ethos Urban. Now we change again to expand our reach further and as of today Ethos Urban becomes Colliers Urban Planning.

Same projects, same independent expertise, same advocacy, same location and most importantly, the same people.”
