St Jude’s Health Care Services’ Perth residential aged care expansion

1 min read

The Perth-based private aged care provider has been named as developer of the aged care facility to be built alongside Providence Lifestyle Wattle Grove retirement village, 15km west of the CBD.

Though built on a site adjacent to Providence Lifestyle Wattle Grove, the aged care facility will operate independently.

Approximately 15km north of that site, St Jude's Health Care Services has also lodged plans to build a two-storey extension of its existing Midlands Nursing Home, adding 72 beds to the existing 110.

The project, located on the corner of John Street and Great Northern Highway, will also include new amenity areas, landscaping and terraces. The project is being assessed through the Western Australian Government's Outer Metro Development Assessment Panel. RADs at Midland Nursing Home are currently $758,627.

St Jude's Health Care Services, which also provides disability services, was founded in 1982. It has four residential aged care homes in Perth and one in Queensland, and delivers home care services around the country.
