Stephen Muggleton joins Aveo Healthcare as Non executive Director

Most Queenslanders know Steve Muggleton thanks to his seven years as head of Blue Care – Queensland’s best known ‘brand’ and largest aged care organisation. When he ended his time with Blue Care it had grown to 8,000 employees, over 70 Community Nursing Centres, 60 Respite Centres, 75 care facilities and 40 retirement villages. Since Blue Care, he has been CEO of the Royal District Nursing Service, Australia’s largest community nursing group covering Australia and New Zealand.

Together with his Blue Care colleague, the now semi retired Fred Huckerby, Muggelton was a force in Canberra for aged care, which is no doubt recognised in his latest appointment.
