Sunshine Coast: Council cuts Caloundra retirement development in half

Caloundra Retirement Community Ltd’s application for a 581 unit retirement development has been cut from 50 dwellings per hectare to 25 and the number of storeys to be built also reduced. The application had faced strong opposite from local residents, many of whom live in Southern Cross Care Queensland’s Caloundra Rise.
