Tanya Plibersek, Minister for Housing wants to work with villages

The Minister asked how she could work with the village sector, with the emphasis on providing social housing for age pensioners. The government is seeking a much broader range of housing design, including universal design. She identified the Illawarra Retirement Trust village at MacArthur Park as the style of development the government wants to support. The money is there.
