The Federal Government village water grants run out

Did you miss out on the $200 million Australian Government’s Community Water Grants
program? The third and final round of funding has just been completed. Ararat Retirement
Village in Victoria received a $45,000 to fund water tanks being fitted to each of the site’s
free-standing units, as a key feature of its $4.5 million redevelopment project which is
expected to save 150,000 litres of water per year.

66 recipients of Aged Care Capital Assistance Program grants announced

The Australia Government has announced 66 recipients of its Aged Care Capital Assistance Program with grants worth $300 million. The largest - a grant of more than $50 million - has gone to Southern Cross Care (QLD) to build a new 94-bed residential care home in Broken Hill, NSW.
