The future is here - harnessing AI to build workforce capability: 2025 LEADERS SUMMIT videos available online

1 min read

With artificial Intelligence (AI) already being incorporated into many off-the-shelf software products, aged care providers looking for a competitive advantage must develop their own AI tools or risk "falling behind", Will Egan, CEO of healthcare education platform Ausmed, told attendees at the 2025 LEADERS SUMMIT.

AI particularly presents significant opportunities to build staff capability and satisfaction, and can assist with recruiting and skilling staff at scale and in short timeframes.

Will gave the example of a home care staff member working remotely after a difficult client interaction. In future, AI tools with a verbal interface might be used in the worker's car to reflect on the incident afterwards. Guidance about workplace procedures and policies could be provided, as well as training offered from a library of resources. The issue could also be escalated through appropriate channels.

For more about how the powers of AI can be harnessed to find workforce solutions, watch Will's 2025 LEADERS SUMMIT presentation by clicking on the video link below.

The 2025 LEADERS SUMMIT program was curated to inform attendees about the significant challenges and opportunities the retirement living and aged care sectors are facing.

The DCM Group has made 23 of the video presentations available on The Weekly SOURCE website to support leaders in their strategy development. To view, click here.
