Tomai Morris, Commercial Director Retirement Living, has stepped down after seven years with the sector’s peak body.

Tomai joined the Property Council in 2018 as Member Services Manager within the-then National Conferences team – a role that evolved to leading the planning and delivery of the National Retirement Living Summit before becoming the RLC's inaugural Commercial Director in 2023.

“Tomai Morris has made an outstanding contribution to the Retirement Living Council. Over the years, she has shaped, coordinated, grown and delivered six National Retirement Living Summits and seven National Retirement Living Award programs – leaving her mark from both the Brisbane and Melbourne offices," Retirement Living Council Executive Director Daniel Gannon told The Weekly SOURCE.

“The strong evolution of the Summit is a testament to Tomai’s expertise, mastery of her craft and her passion for members and sponsors. It’s been a tremendous journey, and we wish her every success in the next chapter.”

Tomai said "after seven fantastic years" at the Retirement Living Council it is time for a new chapter.

"It’s been a privilege to work alongside passionate members and colleagues who are genuinely shaping the future of the retirement living sector. From policy wins to pulling off a few memorable events, the experience has been incredibly rewarding and full of learning," she said.
