The final stage of the $7 million redevelopment of Roseneath Aged Care Centre in Glen Innes in NSW’s New England region is complete, delivering more comfortable, modern surroundings to existing residents.

The first stage was completed by Total Construction in December 2019, which saw two new wings and 24 single rooms added to the facility, as well as the refurbishment of two older wings (14 rooms) and a new community hall and café area and outdoor area.

The second stage involved the demolition of older parts of the home in January this year, and the third stage delivered a new community centre and crucial refurbishments.

Chairperson Denise McOnie told the Glen Innes Examiner: “Our shareholders have committed significant financial resources to the rebuild of Roseneath and have a long-standing commitment to the community of Glen Innes.”
