ACCPA unveils new Charter at National Conference

1 min read

Aged care peak body Aged & Community Care Providers Association (ACCPA) has established a Members’ Charter to set out values and expectations.

Signed by CEO Tom Symondson (pictured left) and Chair Dr Graeme Blackman AO (right) at this week’s inaugural ACCPA National Conference in Adelaide, the Charter – available online – details the organisation’s values, as well as the desired behaviour and expectations of both itself and its members.

According to Tom, the Charter will offer clarity around how the peak body and its members work in pursuit of the shared vision of a trusted, sustainable, and high-performing aged care sector.

“ACCPA has mapped the services and support that it offers to our Members to enable progress towards this vision. The Charter will also be supported by governance oversight and administrative processes.

“This is also an important milestone in the establishment of our new national industry association for all aged care providers,” he said.

The ACCPA National Conference concludes tomorrow at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
