Ansvar, a specialist provider of insurance and risk management solutions for operators of care services, community services (Not for Profits) and religious denomination communities, is to become part of the UK charity the Benefact Group.

“Ansvar is proud to be a part of the Benefact Group and the charitable work all of the group’s trading brands undertake to contribute to communities around the world. We’re equally as proud to have been serving our community in Australia for over 60 years, as a leading specialist insurer and risk provider within our specialist sectors.

“We look forward to a bright future as a part of the Benefact Group and to participating in the Benefact Group’s ambitious plans to give £250 million to good causes by 2025,” said Ansvar CEO Warren Hutcheon (pictured).

Ansvar has donated over $15 million to community education and youth outreach programs across Australia through the Ansvar Community Education Programme.

The Benefact Group has become an international family of three divisions: insurance, investments, and broker and advisory, with operations in the UK, Australia, Ireland, and Canada. Ansvar will continue to operate under its own name.
