ASX-listed InteliCare signs $212K agreement with mecwacare to trial AI care platform

Health tech provider InteliCare's AI-driven care platform will be trialed at Victorian Not For Profit mecwacare's 60-bed aged care home in Prahran in inner-city Melbourne, over three months.

InteliCare's platform features real-time data monitoring, predictive analysis, fall detection, and behavioural insights, and will be tested with the aim of improving resident care, supporting staff, and driving operational efficiencies.

Including hardware and installation fees, the trial is said to be worth $212,000 in fees to InteliCare.

When complete, mecwacare will assess the platform's performance before deciding whether to deploy the system more broadly across its 22 aged care homes.

At LEADERS SUMMIT 2025, mecwacare CEO Anne McCormack (pictured right) told attendees the group had invested $20 million in a "transformational" technology overhaul in recent years.

InteliCare CEO Daniel Pilbrow (left) said, “We are delighted to be supporting mecwacare on its digital transformation and innovation journey."

InteliCare raised $2 million in a share placement last year with the aim of expanding its footprint in the aged care, disability and health sectors.

mecwacare has also been pursuing growth, with the recent acquisition of aged care homes in Long Gully and Flora Hill, both in Bendigo, 150km northwest of Melbourne.
