Churches of Christ WA-governed provider Bethanie says the rebuild of its residential aged care home in the suburb of Dalyellup in the Shire of Capel, about 200km south of Perth, is expected to be ready for completion early next year.

The 106-room aged care home Bethanie Dalyellup was officially opened on 10 October 2011. It is being rebuilt into six separate houses, each with approximately 20 rooms. Many of the houses will have balconies.

It will also have an intergenerational exercise and play area; café; bar; hairdresser; therapy, wellness, and pain management rooms; and a large multi-purpose room.

Bethanie posted on its LinkedIn page it will be welcoming new residents and is looking for new staff.

Bethanie last month celebrated 10 years of providing community housing in Dalyellup and Peel, 75km south of the state capital. Bethanie Housing Ltd now operates 502 properties housing 600 people.
