A terrible case. A Melbourne home care worker who wheeled an elderly man out of his bedroom so that he could rape his wife, 82, has been jailed after pleading guilty.
Simon Prodanovich, 59, sexually assaulted the woman while at the couple’s Mount Waverley home for Omni-Care on January 12 this year, the Victorian County Court heard.
Judge Susan Pullen described his actions as nothing short of “appalling, reprehensible and repulsive”.
Prodanovich must serve five and a half years’ behind bars before being eligible for parole.
