The local community group operates Timbrebongie House, now a low care and ageing in place facility. They have now announced they will build a retirement village for local country people, commencing with 30 independent living units in Stage One with plans for two further stages.

The Senate has voted to establish two new Senate inquiries into the Government’s historic aged care reforms, rollout out on the weekend after years of preparation, amid concerns they will not deliver for older Australians.
